If you can't convince them, confuse them

Late night

MAN is it quiet! Do you know what it's like to go from 5 kids to 2? It's weird. They pick up their toys. They sit when I tell them to. We can drive in the JEEP and fit everyone in!!! We can go to McDonalds for for like... $8 not $28 LOL

I had a dream last night that I was at my old friend Mike D's house. I was picking Bradford pear trees from out of his yard. His wife gave me tupperware to keep them in until I could get home. I remember thinking in my dream how heavy Mike had gotten and hadn't even realized it. LOL I know if it were a real world scenario that I'm good enough friends with Mike to say.. "hey-- You are um, gaining a little dontcha think? :)" Sometimes I miss that. Just the friendship. He was always a good ear. It's not so bad here now that we're making more friends. It's starting to feel more homey. I"ve spent a lot of months since August in this house with 5 kids. My development is starting to feel like a neighborhood. We're getting to know our neighbors and everyone is settling in. We even drink wine with some neighbors, share dinner with another, our mower has become community property LOL

Charlie comes home tomorrow. The kids will enjoy that. I think we're going to South of the Border to get some fireworks. That should be fun. I can't wait. I really hate the 4th of July though. ......

4th of July 1995 is when John brought Krista to his grandparents house. That's when I found out about her anyhow. Gosh how different things would be if I would have just walked away. I'd only have Anthony with him. Now? We've got Anthony and the 3 amigos. Imagine that.

Well, I'm going to bed. I'm a little cranky tonight....

Guess who's back... back again....

(sing that to eminem--haha)

So we're back. We had a week off in Arizona on the umm.. 4-11th I believe. We went to Tuscon, Old Tucson, Tombstone, Collasal Caves, The Desert Musuem. We had some Lil' Abners, Macayo's, On the border, ummm... chinese food, EeGees, etc.. YOu name it we did it.
We went on a horse back ride. I was sooo nervous! We made it the whole two hours and the last 100 feet a groundsman at Old Tucson spooked our horses and mine took off out from under me. I banged up my left shoulder and elbow pretty badly and spent a few hours at the Er. Everything was ok though. The next few days were painful. Charlie got in touch with an old childhood friend and we had dinner one night (and also breakfast before we left). The things you learn about a single mans couch are disgusting! LOL Anyhow.. we're home now :)

The baseball season is over but not with out drama. Anthony got the last game ball! Woo ohooo he was such a good catcher and it was about 100F with 105F heat index. He was sweating his butt off. Let's see what else has been happening. I've had Kelsey here since we got back from Arizona. Man I've missed her! Things are so mellow around here. Tomorrow is Megan's birthday. She'll be 6. Also tomorrow Brooke and Anthony fly to my moms house. Brooke has never been on a plane before. Talk about nervous! She's excited though. They will stay there for about 3-4 weeks. Whew. What a break for me. So I got from having 5 kids, to 3 kids to 2 kids. Just Megan and Nathan. I can't believe Megan is going to be 6. I remember begging John for another baby. I was sooo excited to be pregnant with her. She's just the prettiest little thing too!

Oh Brooke got her hair cut. It's cute. I'm used to it long but it's good to get it cut short so it can grow. It's not SHORT SHORT... it's about shoulder short. Oh as I type this Charlie is playing the Sims. I've started to play that again lol and now he's sharing my family with me.
I"d better go save it...
